What is Spot Repair? Spot Repair is one of the new time-saving repair methods, also called Smart Repair. Spot repair could roughly be translated as selective repair.
Possibilities and limitations: Small damage such as superficial scratches or scratches in the paint can be repaired without having to dismantle the entire component. Of course, this also sets certain limits to the method: as soon as the damage exceeds a certain size or the affected component is difficult to reach, spot repair is unfortunately impossible and the workshop has to resort to conventional methods. But thanks to increasingly intelligent repair methods, a lot is possible these days – spot repair is on the rise.
